Undoubtedly the sexiest of all VY SS Commodore colours, Cosmo Purple!
This 311rwkw N/A VY SS must be seen and heard to be believed. It is an ultra tuff street car that creates envy.

It started life ordered in the best colour, with black leather trim and climate control, which was well picked.
It has only traveled 79,600km with books, but the last 10,000km it has traveled as a modern day street machine.

This immaculate SS was given some love with a light coat of Glasurit 2k over the original perfect paintwork.
The only reason being when you see the Glasurit paint next to the standard Holden paint there is no comparison.
Then a set of VE GTS rims (unmarked) were fitted with king springs and monroe shocks to get the stance right.
The factory boot spoiler was removed and VZ guards added during this part of the build.

Once the look was right, power was next on the cards. A big camshaft (specs to buyer), polished heads, 1 5/8″
Pacemakers, hi flow cats, twin 2.5″ xforce exhaust and a tune brought it to over 300rwkw which was the goal.
A 3500rpm stall converter, tricked auto and 3.7 diff gears completed the performance side of things.
It sounds more like a V8 Supercar then a streetcar now.

The final stage of the build was the immaculate original interior. It received the binnacle gauge mount with
Autometer oil and water temp gauges, plus a volts gauge on the pillar to make sure there is sufficient power
for the Audio/Visual system installed. It consists of the top of the range Alpine 7″ DVD headunit connected to
the factory steering wheel controls, upgraded Alpine front and rear speakers, 2 x 12″ Infinity subs and
2 x Alpine Amplifiers to boost the system. It produces crystal clear sound and lots of it!

The battery was installed in the boot to make way for possible twin turbo plans in the future.

This car is the ultimate flat 11 second modern muscle streetcar. It is an all rounder with power, sound, looks,
handling and luxury that brings a smile to your face every time you turn the key..
