This Series 2 VL Calais Turbo is in Immaculate condition.
You would struggle to find another unrestored Calais in this condition.

It was ordered new as factory turbo, factory manual, Marinello red with silver/grey interior.

The body and paint are immaculate and original apart from the boot lip.
The interior is unmarked series 2 trim, with full electrics all operating as they should.

The car had 1 previous owner who was a mechanic and used it as a weekend car.
It has 89,000km on the clock.

The 3lt engine has recently been rebuilt and strengthened.
It has a hi flow turbo, head work, all the bolt ons needed and a new heavy duty clutch behind it.

The gearbox is the only major modification.
After breaking a few standard gearboxes a T5 has been fit, which now seems to handle the load comfortably.

The car looks quite original from the outside apart from the wheels and lowered stance.
