With HSV replacing the former Holden High Performance Vehicle branch of HDT run by legendary Holden racing car driver Peter Brock in 1987,
it was only a matter of time before the models got faster and drove better with more modern technology. HSV was formed when Holden who was having problems with
Peter Perfect Brock at the time over some controversial Energy Polarizer Crystals in the HDT cars, decided to team up with Tom Walkinshaw Racing under the
all new badge of Holden Special Vehicles, better known as HSV.
The first car developed by HSV was the 1988 Holden VL Commodore SS Group A which went on to win the 1990 Bathurst race at Mount Panorama. The Legend was now born!
The SV88, based on a VL Calais followed and was the first vehicle to be badged with the new HSV logo. Since then HSV built high performance versions of Utes, Coupes,
Sedans and even the long wheel base Limo’s.
The HSV Senator fast became the go to model for Executives and Professionals over the decades due to receiving the best of both worlds, where Luxury and Sport
combine to produce probably the Classiest of all HSV vehicles. It is sad to think that there will never be another Australian Luxury Sport model after these
Gen-F HSV Senator Signature cars.
Build number 0268 is a 2014 model Senator Signature ordered in the very rare colour of Alchemy, which is a dark Purplish Black in most situations but has
a bright Plum coloured flip when bright light hits the unsuspecting pearl paint. It is so rare that at the time of writing this ad, there was not another
Gen-F HSV Senator for sale in the entire country with this Purple paint named Alchemy.
The vehicle is 100% standard and original which always appeals to the clever collector and after our Countries own Automotive Company Holden closed for good, these VF
HSV vehicles have become instant collectors Cars. No need to wait for 4 decades for your GMH to appreciate anymore. The car has traveled 104,890km and has
all books and a full service history. It also has a clean title, with no accident history or finance owing.
The powerful LS3 engine and smooth 6 speed Automatic Gearbox have ample power even in their standard form and the big HSV Brakes and electronic technology
make it fun and a pleasure to drive. However jump inside and Luxury is the first thing that enters your mind. With a huge in car entertainment systems, comfortable
leather seating that’s heated from within, Multi Function Control Screen and Multi Function Steering Wheel.
Safety was also high on the agenda in the HSV Gen-F range. This Senator runs LED Daytime Running Lights, Brake Assist, Electronic Brake Force Distribution,
Electric Parking Brake, Electronic Stability Program, Forward Collision Warning, Hill Holder, Heads Up Display, Lane Change Warning, Lane Departure Warning,
