Holden VL Commodore Wagon
$20,990
*SOLD*
The VL Commodore!
Although Commodore enthusiasts appreciate all of the models, I don’t think there is a more Loved and Famous shape than the VL.
Even with its plastic bumpers it is the most represented Commodore model at Muscle car events throughout our great land.
Is it because it was the only factory turbo Commodore produced, because it was the first HSV enhanced model for Holden, because it was the car driven by 9 time
King of the Mountain, Peter Brock on his final Bathurst win, due to the new Aerodynamic look for the otherwise boxy 1st generation Commodore body, or all of the above?
Who knows, but one thing that cant be denied is the cult following that the VL has developed through all ages, young and old.
The Holden VL Commodore SL station wagon that we have here on display is the total opposite to the flashy Calais, SS Group A and Walkinshaw models that we all love,
but in this pristine, original, showroom condition could be a rarer and harder find than the models previously mentioned.
This 1 owner, museum quality vehicle is a testament to its legend owner for keeping it in as new condition over almost 40 years, whilst still enjoying it for 107,000km.
Mr Reginald Beeson of Maryborough purchased this Australian icon, The Holden Station Wagon from Graham Jacka Holden in his home town, back in 1987.
Its a base model SL with no power steering, AC, or other fancy electrics, however it has the most important all Australian option for back in the old day, a Manual Gearbox.
He garaged, covered, serviced, maintained and treated this vehicle like a child of his own and you might not find a better example of a base model Holden VL Wagon on earth.
The Sandalwood interior (65i) is like new, including the cargo area, roof lining and original carpet. It is 100% original, down to the working Radio/Cassette player.
The seats look and feel like they’ve never been sat on and the 4 door trims appear like no passenger has ever touched them.
The Alpine White paint is immaculate, the body perfectly straight, with rust not daring to ever come near Regi’s immaculate Holden masterpiece.
The stainless trims, inner and outer rubbers, glass, badges, etc are like nothing I’ve ever seen on a VL before.
This cars originality and condition shocks even the most diehard VL enthusiasts.
The car comes with the factory owners handbook and full service history.
We are looking for a fastidious new owner to carry the baton from Mr Beeson and keep this Aussie icon in as new condition for several more decades.
Could that be you?
