This 1998 Nissan GT/T R34 Skyline was imported into Australia when relatively new still, with low km’s and in immaculate condition. It was complied to Aussie standards
in 2007 and has remained a Melbourne car since arriving here.
The Skyline nameplate started in the early 60’s and has been going strong ever since. It has proven itself internationally since its conception 60 years ago
and continues to be a bench mark for the worlds High Performance vehicles.
The GT/T is the little Brother to the almighty R34 GTR Skyline and offers great handling, performance, comfort and excitement just as the GT badge denotes.
The car displayed was ordered as a factory Turbo car running the RB25DET NEO engine. Like most GT’s it ran the 4 speed Automatic, however was recently
converted to a 5 speed manual car, to take advantage of its race bred Heritage.
The body has travelled just 185,000km’s across its 26 year lifespan and is in excellent condition for this age.
The panels are very straight and the original paint is excellent with the exception of some clear coat damage on top of the boot lid after its last visit to an
Automotive workshop, where fluid has dripped from the car above. The paint is just as clean in the door jams as it is around the exterior of the vehicle.
The body has no modifications apart from the boot spoiler mounts, however the factory Nissan mounts come with the car too.
There are thousands of dollars in receipts related to the Skyline’s maintenance since its arrival in 2007 and auction/import documents are also included.
There are also $25,000 in current receipts alone (plus $5000 no receipts), all within the last 2000km’s. Relating to the running gear and a big competition spec stereo.
The original engine has had a complete rebuild at Springy Performance and is still being run in. It was stripped, machined and cleaned, then fitted with
Nitto pistons, Rods & head gasket. ACL Race bearings, ARP head studs and a full reconditioned cylinder head. A brand new Hypergear ATR43SAT Turbocharger
& Haltech Platinum Pro ecu were also fitted at this time. There is a front mount intercooler, spit fire coil packs and custom exhaust with big dump pipe, hi flow
cat and mandrel system. A new Xtreme organic twin plate clutch kit was attached to a fully reconditioned 5 speed gearbox with new bearings & syncros.
The new set up made 263rwkw (dyno sheet included) on 17psi, but has been run in on 13psi since then.

The GT rolls on 17″ WORK VS Wheels (currently white plastidip coated) and stance is courtesy of adjustable Tein coilovers up front and lowered Kingsprings down rear.
Open the door and you see an original looking, quite immaculate Skyline GT interior. There are no burns or rips anywhere and even the factory carpet is still
pretty mint under the genuine Nissan floor mats. The screen that sits top centre of the factory dash comes with the car (along with dozens of other spares),
however the 3 gauge upgrade has just been fitted in its place (gauges not connected yet). There is an Autometer boost gauge by the pillar and a Kenwood
DMX8020S double din headunit in the dash. The headunit runs JL Audio 6.5″ front & rear splits, through a JL Audio 4ch 400watt amp. There is also an Alpine amp
powering Kicker Comp dual 12″ boxed/ported subs. A stealth reverse camera is connected to the screen and for security the R34 has a car alarm with immobilser.
There is good quality window tint on the glass and the A/C still blows cold, perfect for Summer cruising.
This is a great, fun, fast car for someone who likes to drive manual, but doesn’t have a huge budget.
To buy a stock, super clean GT/T, then perform all these mods and build a fresh engine/gearbox combo, you would be looking at 50 to 60 Thousand Dollars.
So grab yourself a Bargain!
