Here we have Australia’s most iconic V8 Muscle car. A replica of the legendary XY GT351 Falcon.
This car has undergone a full rebuild using dozens of priceless genuine GT351 and HO parts being collected over the decades.

The body used for the build was a clean XY Fairmont, 6 cylinder with A/C. It was chosen from many other options as it was restored
8 years earlier, had a good body and showed no repairs beneath the paint. 2 years ago the car was completely stripped down, blocked
and repainted (inside and out), matching its factory Ultra White paint code. All GT stripes, blackouts and badges were applied
to factory specs by a GT Falcon restoration shop. All bolts, strikers, catches, etc were gold zinc plated upon assembly.

The glass and bumpers were in very good condition, so were used for the restoration. The stainless trims were also very good so retained,
however they were all reconditioned and polished before refit. Some trims like the top and bottom grill molds & gutter molds were
purchased new to perfect the look. Genuine GT parts such as side mirrors & shaker were used, along with new door handles, rubber kit
and front lenses.

The front end was completely rebuilt with new shocks, springs, bushes, ball joints, recoed brake callipers on new disks and all painted
to Ford GT spec with factory GT inspection stamping re-applicated like when built new. Rear springs were rebuilt with new shocks fitted,
a new GT spec 36 Gallon fuel tank was installed and a new tail shaft (with factory stampings) connect to a recoed 9″ diff with 3.5 lsd
centre, finned GT drum brakes and big 31 spline Moser billet axles. The diff has been shortened 20mm per side to fit bigger 255/60/15
tyres, but has been run with spacers and ROH Australia 5 slot wheels, caps, trims, with redwalled Dunlop tyres
(included in sale at listed price) for that mint, factory GT look. The second set of wheels that the car comes with are brand new
Convo Street Pro 8.5″, 255/60 and 4″, 165/80 for the pro street look.

The engine bay has been built to factory GT spec being completely rewired, running a 351 Cleveland in correct paint code with all
factory stamping and stickers reapplied. It has factory spec alternator with yellow pulley, Autolite oilfilter, GT hoses, Complete
reproduction Autolite 12v battery (not just top cover), twin GT horns, Genuine GTHO twin vac brake booster and GTHO vacuum tank, plus more.
The motor has a mild cam, new 600cfm Holley carb, electronic ignition and extractors fitted to the spec 2″ twin system.
There are genuine GT chrome exhaust tips in the boot should you wish to fit along with a GT front spoiler in as new condition.
The Auto is a C10 with firmed shift, small converter and trans cooler. A new Radiator and fully recoed AC Compressor have been installed.
The A/C lines would need to be completed to finish the A/C system.

The interior consists of a Genuine GT steering wheel, dash cluster, gauges and console all completely restored to original specs.
All gauges have been re-calibrated and read accurately. The factory radio is a cover plate with modern bluetooth, usb, cd built in behind
the cover plate, however no speaker holes have been cut and it runs the 1 dash mounted speaker. The genuine crash pad and speaker grill
are perfect and unmarked. All A/C dash vents have been restored, re-chromed and installed should the new owner complete the A/C system.
The complete interior is brand new to match the trim code in saddle brown. New seat covers, door trims, handles, roof lining, carpet,
visors, Venetian blind, kick panels, parcel shelf, scuff plates, complete seat belt restoration and more. Only the armrests are original.

The boot is just as clean as the rest. It has many spares in it such as a new set of Gold GT stripes should you choose to change, 7 blade
A/C engine fan and condenser, other A/C, engine and electrical parts, spare paint for everything, all stamps and paints, GT book for
original spec markings, original decals plus more included in the sale.

This XY has just passed a Victorian Roadworthy inspection. It has 10 months full Vic Rego that will come with the car and a current RWC
can be supplied at a small amount. The car is very clean throughout, just finished and has not yet been shown. It is being considered for sale
due to owning other cars and projects and for a deposit on another property.
